We help people to fulfil their potential - the people and communities that we work among, as well as the people who work for us.

This can mean providing skills to individuals. It can mean giving them a hand up. Or it can mean giving a hand out to organisations that will help communities to succeed and improve themselves. It’s what our stakeholders have told us is important to them and it’s something that’s very close to our hearts.  

We’ve always got dozens of charitable and community initiatives going on around MITIE and across the UK at any time (click here to read about some of our most recent), but there are a few that we’ve all been working on for some time that are particularly special to us, including our network of construction Skill Centres and our Real Apprentice scheme.
