what was the Welsh Assembly Government looking for?
The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) has buildings across the whole of Wales and the client was looking for a reliable and trustworthy partner with experience in this field of work. Their buildings include three major sites in Cardiff Bay’s waterfront development, plus a major new development in Merthyr Tydfil and offices in Carmarthen. Two of the three buildings in the Bay attract thousands of visitors each week. The Senedd in the Bay, designed by Sir Norman Foster, with its thousand tonnes of Welsh slate and huge 360° glass surface, is the main focus of government activity in Wales, housing the debating chamber.
how did we help?
In all five buildings we make sure that all surfaces receive specialist care. Our main focus is cleaning, including daily office cleans, washroom maintenance as well as window cleaning. The latter, given the huge glass surface area of the Senedd, is a constant activity and includes internal abseiling cleans.

The Senedd is always in the public eye including regular broadcasts on national television so keeping the glass, slate and wood in first class condition is one of our top priorities.
